HMFH was responsible for the renovation of two of Berklee’s teaching/recital halls and the creation of a third dedicated to the performance of synthesized music. Each performance space is designed for a different level of ability. Thus each space had different and highly specific requirements for sound and lighting controls. The space for synthesized music required integrating specialized acoustical materials and controls within what was once a formal dining space with elaborately decorated vaulted plaster ceiling and walnut wood paneling.
HMFH also completed a control room and recording studio for the College. All of the projects were design-build efforts, with the client’s choice of contractor.
