In a unique syndication of historic tax credits combined with various public funding mechanisms, a Beaux-Arts style mansion overlooking the Back Bay fens was renovated into 46 mixed income family units of varying size. The building's exterior and many of its most significant interior spaces were restored.
The five-story building features highly decorative exterior stonework, a grand stair hall connecting the first and second floors, a skylit central hall on the top floor, and rooms with elaborate paneling, plaster detail work and ornate fireplace mantles.
