Ms. Wernick is extremely active in the national dialogue on architecture and education and has presented at several educational conferences on topics ranging from the history of urban school design to smart growth schools to sustainable design practices in architecture. She is Past-President of the Northeast Regional Council for Educational Facility Planners International and Chair of CEFPI's Urban Educational Facilities Committee.
