As a founding principal of HMFH, Mr. Friedlaender has been responsible for several of the firm's award-wining educational projects, including the timeless Brewster Elementary School and the ground-breaking Chelsea Schools Project. Overseeing educational planning and programming in the office, he translates the client's space needs and program goals into a workable and buildable plan. He is an active board member at several notable institutions, including the New England Conservatory of Music and the Boston Architectural Center.
