HMFH is undertaking a feasibility study for the oldest building on the Framingham State College Campus. This 1889 historic facility originally served as student housing but has long been used as administrative and faculty office space. The building is a sentimental favorite among students and faculty. It occupies a prominent location on campus, facing the academic quadrangle on one side and the main roadway through campus on the other.

The study will determine the future of Crocker Hall, examining its suitability for student housing, admissions or academic offices. Following the initial needs assessment, the study will analyze campus growth patterns, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and also identify sites for future expansion. Regardless of its ultimate use, the building will undergo a significant renovation to restore its original appearance, update building systems and meet all codes.
