PROCESS
At HMFH, the incorporation of sustainable measures
into the design of our buildings is as integral as aesthetics and the building
program. Through our user-centered design approach,
we facilitate a lively series of brainstorming sessions with a group of owners,
users, facility operators and community leaders. Following the development of
a Green Goals Wish List, HMFH draws on in-house analytical tools, the latest industry
standards, and real project experience to conduct both comparative energy efficiency
analyses and cost-benefit analyses of various sustainable design implementation
strategies. With these findings we guide owners through an informed decision-making
process that assures them of a sustainable building that can be achieved within
their budget and schedule.
