HMFH Architect Named AIA's Young Architect Regional Director

Caitlin Osepchuk, AIA, has been selected to serve as the Young Architects Regional Director (YARD) for AIA New England in 2020 – 2021.

Caitlin is a natural leader both in and outside the office – her energy and drive to provide guidance to emerging professionals demonstrate her commitment to the profession of architecture.

Lori Cowles, AIA, Principal

As the Regional Director, Caitlin will act as the primary connection at the regional level to other groups in the AIA. She will work closely with the AIA’s Young Architects Forum (YAF) and RAD (Regional Associate Directors) to gather information about the types of issues and concerns facing emerging professionals within New England and disseminate information about activities and resources that can support the growth and development of young architects. She will serve as an important connection between the Regions, the YAF, and the AIA.

A graduate of Roger Williams University, Caitlin’s depth of experience in K-12 school architecture includes Westborough’s (MA) new Fales Elementary School which is on target to achieve net zero energy, Dover NH High School and Career Technical Center and the Clark Avenue Middle School in Chelsea, MA.

I am truly honored to have been selected to serve as the 2020 – 2021 YARD for AIA New England. I am extremely excited to build upon the wonderful work that YARDs around the country have accomplished, and look forward to working with AIA New England to be a resource for emerging professionals.
