Today we announce a new partnership with the Boston Architectural College to establish an endowed scholarship program that will advance goals for equity and diversity in the design industry.
At HMFH, we embrace and promote inclusivity both within our firm and the greater design industry. To help break down barriers in the profession, we are endowing a new scholarship at the BAC for recent high school graduates who identify as Black, Indigenous, people of color, as well as first-generation college students, students with disabilities and other underrepresented populations. Our scholarship, which will debut in September 2022, will offer tuition assistance to four students in their first two years of architecture school.
I am deeply grateful for HMFH’s partnership with the BAC in recognition of our longstanding commitment to diversifying the design field. The establishment of the HMFH Scholarship will serve to advance our shared vision of a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world for generations to come.
HMFH has a longstanding association with the BAC and we look forward to working with the future scholars by providing additional mentorship, professional development and work opportunities.
