Located on a 10-acre site at Merritt Park, the 253,000-sf school is divided into four individual 550-student  “schoolhouses.” Though part of a single building complex, the schoolhouses operate as independent entities with their own public entrances and administration facilities.

Each pair of schoolhouses shares a cafeteria, library, gymnasium and health suite. Geometric shapes and bright colors distinguish each schoolhouse from the others, humanizing the scale of the building for its young users. On-site public recreation amenities were preserved and improved, including a grass playing field and paved playground.
